WWTP Filtration Upgrade
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Location: The City of Llano’s existing WWTP Facility at 428 CR 303, Llano, Texas 78643.
Peabody General Contractors, Inc. is looking for qualified, certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) businesses to bid the following scopes:
• Construction of a tertiary cloth-media filtration system, including structural concrete basins for filtration equipment.
• Construction of 16’ x 16’ chemical storage shed and chemical feed system equipment.
• Yard Piping and Pumps, including all fittings, valves and appurtenances.
• Site improvements including E&S Controls, site grading, concrete flatwork, etc.
Proposals for the construction of the WWTP Filtration Upgrade project will be received by email or fax until Tuesday, July 10th at 5:00 pm. This contract is subject to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, which includes EPA-approved fair share goals toward procurement of Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) businesses. EPA rules require that applicants and prime contractors make a good faith effort to award a fair share of contracts, subcontracts, and procurements to M/WBEs through demonstration of the six affirmative steps.
